Sign Up One Customer To An Excursion or Charter

New Customer:

Select New Customer and click the Next button. This will open the customer profile where you can use the touch keyboard or your keyboard to enter in all necessary fields. When a new customer record is started, the dive tabs will not appear below the Info tab until the customer record is saved for the first time. If you are adding the new customer while signing up for a class, you will not be able to access the customer profile dive tabs until the class signup is completed. Once you have finished adding the new customer record, you will be moved forward to the Sign Up upon saving.

With a customer on the sale, the wizard now moves into the Sign Up. (If the customer is already signed up for a trip or charter, the options Payment/Pay Off and Cancel a Trip will also be available. A customer cannot be signed up more than once for the same trip).

With Sign Up checked, click the Next button. The next step in the wizard is to select from your list of scheduled Trips and Charters. By default, all Trips and Charters are selected to display. Either option can be filtered out by clicking off the check box next to Excursion / Trip or Charter / Day Trip located in the bottom left corner.

There are also Sorting option to the left that may aid in finding the correct trip or charter. Each listing details the dates, number of days and nights, Trip/Charter price, Minimum Deposit amount and number of seats (Min, Max and number of seats Open). Use the scroll buttons or scroll bar to navigate through the list of Trips/Charters. Trips in RED type are expired but have not been closed in the back office. This allows for payments to be made after the trip has finished.

Note* This Trip/Charter list allows for multi-selection, so if your customer wants to sign up for more than one trip, select each trip so that each row is highlighted. If you may accidentally multi-select without meaning to - you can click a highlighted row a second time to de-select it.

Once you have selected the trip or trips your customer wants to sign up for, click the Next button to move to the Payment options. Each trip the customer is signing up for is listed in the box at the bottom of this window.

With only one person to sign up, the last step is to either take a deposit or full payment for the trip/charter, or select to sign the customer onto the roster but not take any money.

Roster Signup - If a Roster Signup only is selected, the trip signup will finalize upon clicking the Finish button. If there are no items on the sale, the transaction will be closed out, otherwise, the trip wizard will return back to the sales screen with the customers purchase.
