User Name - You email account user name. Only required if your outbound email requires authentication.
SMTP Password - Your email account password. Only required if your outbound email requires authentication.
Inbox Connection Required Setting - Check this off if your ISP requires an inbox connection in order to send mail. This is a security feature that some ISP's implement in order to guarantee the account isn't being used for outbound SPAM only.
POP3 Server - The address of the POP3 Server.
POP3 User - The username of the email account.
POP3 Password - The password of the email account.
Click the OK button to save your settings and return to the EncomPos Mailer window.
When the status of an email is changed from Open to Ready, you will be asked whether you would like to send an email. In the top Work Orders window, click the Edit button to open a window with the work order fields that can be edited.
Use the Status field drop down and select Ready. This will immediately prompt to indicate whether you would like to send an email to the customer to let them know it is ready. Click the Yes button to open the EncomPos Emailer and follow the instructions above to follow through, otherwise click the No button to return to the edit window. Then click the OK button to save the status and return to work orders.
If there is no email address on file for the customer, you will not be prompted to send a work order email.
