Cost & Retail - This is the cost and retail for the service or part being added to the order details. The cost and will fill in automatically from the inventory record, but only the retail can be edited for each order.
Quantity - Set the quantity on each service or part and it will adjust the total balance due.
Item Serial # - To improve tracking of the service gear for the future, enter the serial number for each piece on both the service and parts used for the service.
Item Description - Enter in the description for the item being serviced.
Item Notes & Quick Notes - Use the item notes field to enter in custom notes, or click the Quick Notes button to select from a list of commonly used service notes.
Remove A Service or Part - Use this button to take a service or part off of the work order. Any deposits will remain on the work order as a negative balance which will adjust when a new service or part is added back on.
Add New Services & Parts - In the work order toolbar, there is an icon to Add Selected Products. This icon works with products highlighted in your Inventory Search Results to bring them onto the work order details.
Navigate to the Inventory Search and use the search criteria to bring up a service or part listing (Example: Step 1 = Inventory Type, Step 2 = Equal To, Step 3 = Work Order Service. This will bring up all products set as work order service onto your search results window).
Highlight the service(s) or part(s) you need to add and navigate back to the Work Orders on the tree menu. Click the Add Selected Product icon in the toolbar and your selected item(s) will be listed in the Order Details window. Now use the Edit button to add additional information to your detail.
