Begin by logging into the POS to start a sale. A customer can be put onto the sale prior to entering into Rentals, or in the signup wizard. Either way, a customer must be added to the sale in order to rent anything. This allows for full tracking, setting the item(s) as rented for the date(s) and putting the customer the rental(s). For this help file, we will add the customer from within the Rental wizard. Click the link to go to the basic help file to Add A Customer To A Sale. In the POS screen, click the Rentals button. The first step in the wizard is to either select a Returning Customer from your database of existing customers or Add A New Customer record (if the customer made a reservation, you may bypass the lookup and go directly to a list of reservations for the current day by selecting the option to Rent by Reservation - see the help file to Pick Up A Rental Reservation).
