Make A Payment/Payoff An Excursion or Charter For Multiple Customers In One Sale

This is an advanced help file that leaves off from the help file to Make A Payment/Payoff A Trip For One Customer.

When you need to make a payment or pay off a trip signup for multiple customers, there is only one way to access those customers in a single sale. We continue this help file from the point of paying off one customers trip balance and are now back at the sales receipt where we can see the Trip Deposit and Full Trip Price lines for our first customer on the ticket. We can see that first person's name at the top of the sales receipt as well as that customer's number (2501000...) on each line item.

If you go back into Tasks and Scuba Trip, you will still be using that first persons' profile when you enter into the trip wizard, which you do NOT want. In order to get the next person on the ticket, you must first go into the Lookup (on the main POS screen and not in Tasks), and select either Customer Lookup by Name or Phone Number. (If your customer has a card, you can bypass the Customer Lookup and simply scan or swipe the customer card to bring the next person onto the sale).

Lookup by Name - When looking up by Name, click in the Last/Business or First Name field and use the touch keyboard or your own keyboard to enter in your search criteria. You may touch or click the "Beginning With" or "Containing" text labels or touch or click the Last/Business Name or First Name labels to change the search method. (Beginning With becomes Containing and vice versa when touched).

Type in full or partial information and click the Enter button to pull up a list of results matching your search criteria. Click the Column Headers to sort the list and use the scroll bar or buttons to navigate through it. Click the Next button to select the customer.

Lookup by Phone # - When looking up by Phone Number, use the touch number pad or your keyboard to type in the 10 digit or a partial of the customer's number. Click the Enter button to pull up a list of results matching your search criteria. Use the scroll bar or buttons to navigate through it and click the Select button to select the customer.

Once you have selected the next customer from the lookup list, you will return back to the main sales screen and the customer name above the sales ticket will now be the next customers. Notice that the first customer's information is still attached to the original Trip Deposit and Pay Off lines in the receipt.

NOW with the next customer assigned to the sale, go into Tasks and click the Scuba Trip button. You will be back in the Trip wizard with the options to Sign Up, Payment/Pay Off and Cancel A Trip. Select the Payment/Pay Off button and click the Next button to move forward on paying off this customer's trip. As with the first person's Payment/Pay Off, you will first need to select the Excursion or Charter from a list of Scheduled Trips the customer has signed up for.

Select the trip and click the Next button to move forward to the Payment options window. At the top of the window are the Trip Price and Balance amounts for reference. Use the number pad to set the payment amount or one of the quick buttons to set either a percent of the balance or Pay In Full. Click the Next button and you will return to the sales receipt.
