Order Tags To A Laser Printer & Print |
|
Tags are ordered from the Inventory Search results over to the Product Price Tags located in the Document Center. To access the Tag Ordering interface, log into Retail Operations, go to the Inventory Search window and click the Tasks drop down located in the bottom taskbar, or right click a product or selected set of products brought up in the Search Work Set to trigger the same set of tasks. From the task menu, select Order Tags to open the Ordering Interface window. There are four types of tags to choose from and either the onhand quantity or a single tag can be ordered for either all products in the search work set or the selected rows. The following defines each tag available for print: Shelf Tags - This stock is paper based and is used to place on the shelf edge to replace pricing each product individually. The size of stock being used is set by navigating in the Retail Operations tree menu to System Configuration/Retail Environment. Of the six tabs, Product Labels is the last and where all stock sizes are set. Sm. Product Tags - This stock is Avery 5267, with a size of 1.75" x .5", typically used as a return address label for mail. Lg. Product Tags - This stock is Avery 5160, with a size of 2.63" x 1", typically used as the mailing address label. Apparel Tags - This tag utilizes the same stock as the Lg. Product Tags, but is formatted different than a standard product label. When ordering apparel tags, a unique tag is ordered for each size/attribute combination in the product apparel grid, utilizing apparel selling codes in the inner grid. So with the product(s) selected on the search, and the tag style selected in the ordering window with the desired quantity, click the Yes button. This action will close the ordering window and add the tags to the Product Price Tags activity in the Document Center. |
