Retire An Associate |

When an associate is no longer employed, they should be retired from active status. A card referenced to that employee should either be unassigned if returned or retired if not. To begin, locate the associate within the Security section of Retail Operations in the Employee User Accounts. Select the customer in the User Account window and click the Retire (X) icon in the toolbar. The associate will be removed from the User Accounts window. Click the Save button in the toolbar and the associate will be retired from active status. Use the drop down to view Past Employees versus Current Employees. At this point, any card assigned to the retired associate will be still be assigned to that retired employee. That card can be retired or unassigned by going to EncomPos Cards in Security. To retire the card, highlight the correct card number and click the Retire Card icon in the toolbar. Click the Yes button to verify retiring the selected card or the No button to cancel the action. To unassign the card, highlight the correct card number and click the Unassign Card icon in the toolbar. Click the Yes button to verify whether this card is to be unassigned or No to cancel the action. |
