To access a customer's line of credit account and store credit information you must first Add A Customer To The Sale. This is an advanced help file continuing from the point of already having a customer on our sale. When a customer is added to the sale, four icons appear around the scan prompt in the upper right section of the sales screen. The customer account button has an image of a stack of bills and is located in the top right of the scan prompt circle.

Clicking the button will open a window (for ease of identification, this will be called the LOC window), that lists the customer's information, including their last visit, visit count and lifetime spent, any Store Credit Balance is listed on the left and in the bottom of the window, is all of the Line of Credit information.

Credit Limit - This is the amount of credit that the customer has access to charge purchases on.

Available Credit - The amount of credit the customer has not used. The difference between the Credit Limit and Account Balance.

Account # - A number that is generated upon creating the line of credit account for the customer.

Account Balance - This is the balance the customer owes the store for purchases made on their line of credit account.

If you are making a payment on a line of credit account - click the Make Payment button below the LOC window. This will open a payment window below the LOC window, with a number pad and some quick numbers. Use the account payment window to set the amount the customer is paying on the account and click the OK button.

From there you will be returned to the sales screen with an Account Payment on the receipt for the amount indicated in the account payment window. At this point, you can ring more products to the sale and tender when finished.

If you are only viewing the information - once you have finished, click the Close button to return to the sales screen. At this point, you can ring products on the sale and tender, look up another customer record to edit, or clear the customer from the sale.

To remove a customer, if the ticket is blank and the customer is not making a purchase, either go into Tasks and use the Clear Customer button to stay in the sales mode, but remove the customer from the sale, or back in the main sales screen, click the EncomPos logo at the top of the receipt and the customer will be removed and you will be logged out of the sales mode.
